Stainless steel welded wire mesh panels provide a rigid, flat welded grid for machine guards, cages, racks, partitions, protective enclosures and fabricated industrial components where fixed dimensions are more important than continuous roll length.
SHUNQIANG's current SS304 welded mesh panel range includes 20 mm, 25 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm, 50 mm and 100 mm square-opening products. Current product listings also combine different wire diameters with these openings, because opening size alone does not determine panel rigidity or suitability.

Start with what the panel needs to control.
A smaller opening provides closer spacing and can prevent smaller objects or animals from passing through. It can also reduce access through a guard.
A larger opening improves visibility and airflow but provides less containment.
The correct opening therefore depends on the application rather than simply choosing the most common mesh size.
Opening and wire diameter must be selected together.
Increasing wire diameter generally increases:
panel rigidity;
resistance to deformation;
panel weight;
stainless steel consumption;
cutting and forming effort;
material cost.
A thinner wire can reduce weight and material usage, but it should not be selected only to reduce price when the finished panel must remain rigid after installation.
Panel size also matters. A wire diameter that is sufficiently rigid over a small framed area may behave differently when used across a much larger unsupported span.
For panel products, finished width and length are part of the functional specification.
If the panel will fit into an existing frame, guard, rack or enclosure, provide the required finished dimensions rather than only a nominal sheet size.
Also indicate whether the dimension refers to:
the complete outside panel size;
the clear area inside a frame;
or the raw panel size before further cutting.
For repeated fabricated parts, a drawing can reduce ambiguity.
Cut welded panels can have different edge conditions depending on where the cut passes relative to the welded wires.
If the edge will remain exposed, fit into a frame or be handled directly, state any edge requirement in the RFQ.
For fabricated components, also identify:
cut-to-size requirements;
bending;
finished shape;
frame integration;
required mounting or installation dimensions.
Do not assume that a standard raw panel dimension is automatically the correct finished component size.

For fine particle or micron-level filtration, a woven or specialized filter mesh may be more appropriate.
The current visible SHUNQIANG panel series is centered on SS304.
SS304 is widely selected where welded panels require corrosion resistance for general industrial, humid or outdoor service conditions.
However, stainless grade should still be matched to the actual environment.
Where the panel will experience persistent salt, seawater, chloride or more aggressive chemical conditions, buyers commonly evaluate higher-corrosion-resistance stainless grades such as SS316.
If the project specifies a particular grade or corrosion requirement, include it in the RFQ rather than selecting material only from a generic indoor/outdoor description.
Panels and rolls can use similar stainless steel and opening specifications, but they are purchased for different reasons.

Choose the product form according to the finished installation rather than treating panel and roll specifications as interchangeable.
